Round 2 of the GB4 Championship at Silverstone Circuit has arrived. This weekend marks the first of two rounds at the historic Silverstone Circuit this season, and after a quick break, the team is looking forward to applying everything they learned at the previous round.
While Donington was mulled by results, a deeper look into the weekend as a whole showed lots of promise. Jason was consistently top ten in pace, and was one of the leading passers of the weekend. “Donington was a challenge, and everyone, including myself was on edge with it being our first race weekend as a team. We agree that qualifying was the cause of a lot of our struggles over the weekend, but we’ve put that behind us, and are now far better prepared for Silverstone” says Jason, looking forward to the race weekend.
Jason has had more experience on the Silverstone Circuit in preseason testing, showing promising results in his third day in the car, placing himself top ten on the timing sheets. Along with his successful history in a short time racing at the circuit, having won at Silverstone in Formula Ford, this serves as a bode of confidence heading into the weekend. GB4 will be racing alongside British GT as per usual, along with GB3 in their first race weekend of the season. Though GB3 is an addition to the weekend schedule, the session times are similar to the last event, making it convenient for viewers in the UK and US.
