It’s race week for GB4 at Oulton Park. The third round of the GB4 calendar brings a new track and a new challenge for Jason and the team as they come off a great weekend at Silverstone.
Much unlike Silverstone, Oulton Park is the most intense, punishing, and narrow circuit on the calendar. The high speed sections, the uneven surface, and the lack of runoff, make this track comparable more to a rally stage than a road circuit. “While having limited experience on this particular track, it combines some of my favorite circuits in the U.S., winding and undulating like Mid-Ohio, while the walls stare at you like the ones at Road America. Needless to say, it’s a circuit that I’ve been looking forward to.” said Jason.
Jason and ADM also came off of their most successful weekend of the season with a podium, marking what will be a major shift in their season success. The podium, and other performances that weekend were no mistake, and it’s thanks to the commitment of everyone on the team that they are looking confident going into Oulton Park, even with their limited experience.
This weekend has a different schedule as well, with the first three days, that being testing, qualifying, and Race 1, being on normal schedule, then a day off on Sunday, and then back for the final two races on Monday. This is due to it being a bank holiday weekend which will at least give all you fans the opportunity to watch the Indy 500 uninterrupted.
Oulton Park will make for some great racing, so make sure you mark your calendars and tune into the races this week!
