Preseason Testing Complete for New GB3 Program

The official test at Silverstone on March 24–25 marked the final step in an intensive preseason program for Jason and the expanded Nitrous Competitions with ADM Racing, already showing promising signs of progress as the squad gets to grips with a significantly updated GB3 car.

The preseason program spanned six days across multiple circuits, giving the team valuable mileage in a range of conditions, from cold, low-grip mornings to race and qualifying simulations later in the day. Having gone through a similar process in 2025, the system in place is now more refined and efficient. Although the team has expanded its personnel, the core group on Jason’s side of the garage remains unchanged, allowing for strong continuity in communication. “The start of 2026 has gone well I’d say,” Jason explains. “There is more to learn than I think any of us really anticipated, and we are still struggling a bit with reliability, but we are getting close to having a good understanding of the car and it’s fun to drive. The goal now is to turn what we’re learning into consistent results when the season starts.”

Jason and the Nitrous Competitions with ADM Racing team aren’t the only ones adapting to this year’s GB3 car. Over the offseason, the car received a number of upgrades aimed at increasing overall performance. Power has risen from 285 to 315 horsepower thanks to a new 2.4-litre engine, alongside gains in torque and downforce. At almost all of the tests, the GB3 track record, and sometimes even the overall track record has been broken.

With a month to go before the season opener at Silverstone, the focus now shifts to preparation away from the track. While the team continues work on its GB4 program, Jason is maintaining sharpness through simulator work and karting.

“One of my favorite things at the shop now has to be our new sim,” he says. “It’s really well made, and I’ve been playing around with it to best mimic the GB3 car. It feels great, and it’s going to help me stay fresh heading into the first race.”

With momentum building and a clearer understanding of the car emerging, the team heads into the opening round aiming to convert preseason progress into competitive results.
